Diversity. As the most ethnically
diverse community in the United States, the
Borough President's Office - in association with
the Queens General Assembly - has published a calendar

Recreation. The Parks Department
is proud to unveil our latest brochure outlining
all the fun things to do and see in Flushing Meadows
Corona Park. The Park is home not only to the Unisphere,
but the US Open Tennis Tournament, Queens Theatre
in the Park, and more.
Growth. Rreal estate
development is revitalizing the Borough of Queens.

Queens Poet Laureate 2010-2013
On June 17, 2010 Queens Borough President Helen Marshall
was joined by Queens College President James Muyskens
at an installation ceremony for the fifth Poet
Laureate of Queens, Paolo Javier, who will serve
in this position from 2010 to 2013. Read more and
