QUEENS, NY – One day after the opening of the 2023 New York City high school application process, Borough President Donovan Richards Jr. will host his annual High School Fair at Queens Borough Hall on Thursday, October 13 from 5pm to 8pm.

Coinciding with the High School Fair will be a workshop on the admissions processes for both regular and specialized high schools, led by NYC Department of Education representatives. The one-hour workshop will begin at 6pm, with a repeat session following at 7pm. Both the High School Fair and the workshops will take place in the Helen Marshall Cultural Center within Queens Borough Hall.

“Applying for high school can be a daunting experience for Queens families. But with our High School Fair and admissions workshop, we look forward to cutting through the confusion and making the process easier and more enjoyable for everyone,” said Borough President RICHARDS. “If your child will be entering high school in 2023, you won’t want to miss our fair this Thursday. Thank you to the NYC Department of Education and all our participating Queens schools for your partnership.”

More than two dozen high schools are scheduled to participate in the High School Fair. For a list of schools and more information about the fair, click here.
