QBP RICHARDS TO HOST JOB FAIR AT PLAZA COLLEGE

Event will headline Day 3 of “Borough Hall on your Block: Central Queens”

QUEENS, NY – As part of his continuing efforts to promote economic opportunity for all Queens residents, Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr. will host a Central Queens Jobs Recruitment Fair tomorrow, February 28.

Headlining Day 3 of his ongoing “Borough Hall on Your Block: Central Queens” initiative, the fair will be held from 2pm to 6pm in the student commons at Plaza College, located 118-33 Queens Boulevard in Forest Hills.

The Central Queens Jobs Recruitment Fair will connect area job seekers with a wide array of employers looking to hire Queens residents today. Hiring organizations participating in the fair will include the Council for Airport Opportunity, Express Professional Employment, the MTA/NYC Transit Authority, the New York City Department of Correction, the New York City Administration for Children Services, New York City Housing Preservation & Development, the New York City Police Department, the New York State Police, the U.S. Army, and Workforce1 Industrial & Transportation Career Center.
