QUEENS BOROUGH CABINET TO BE BREIFED ABOUT CENSUS DATA TOOLS; HEALTH INSURANCE OPEN ENROLLMENT

QUEENS, NY –The Queens Borough Cabinet, chaired by Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr., will hold an in-person meeting on Tuesday, November 14, at 9:30 AM.

The meeting will feature a presentation from the U.S. Census Bureau on how to navigate its free data tools. The presentation will be introduction to how census data can be accessed to help Community Boards make more informed, data-based decisions.

Also, a representative from the NY State of Health, the state’s official health insurance marketplace, will discuss the upcoming open enrollment period for health insurance coverage, as well what New Yorkers need to be aware of to prepare for seamless renewal of their health coverage following the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency.

This meeting will be conducted in-person in the Borough President’s second-floor conference room at Queens Borough Hall, located at 120-55 Queens Boulevard in Kew Gardens. The meeting will also be live-streamed to the public on the Borough President’s website at www.queensbp.org and on the Borough President’s YouTube page.
