The NYC Commission on Human Rights invites youth and adults to our Reclaiming His Dream: Taking Back the Legacy of MLK to Protect Human Rights virtual event on January 17th, 2022 at 6pm. This event will consist of an open dialogue in commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to discuss the power of his quotes and how they are utilized in the media today. Dr. King left a historical legacy with his words and actions and in today's society, those words continue to be powerful tools that have the potential to be applied incorrectly.
