QUEENS, NY – In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Queens Borough President Richards will host a celebration to honor our borough’s vibrant and dynamic Latin communities on Tuesday, October 11 at 6pm at the New York Hall of Science in Corona.

“Queens is home to a great many Latin Americans who, throughout our history and present day, play a critical role in the fabric of not only our borough, but also our city. We’re proud to recognize them and all their contributions — from their delicious food to their exciting music and dance — as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month,” said Borough President RICHARDS. “We recommit to uplifting them and building strong bonds for all our families to thrive.”

The event will feature several cultural performances throughout the evening, as well as food courtesy of Jackson Heights restaurant Bocaito. The Borough President will also present awards to several leaders doing impactful work in Queens’ Latin communities.
