Exhibition Opening Reception: Early Days & Later Days - by Danny Simmons
JCAL will begin commemorations of its 50th anniversary year with a major retrospective from Danny Simmons, legendary artist and son of Jamaica, Queens. Called Early Days & Latter Days, the exhibition will span both of JCAL’s galleries and feature works from the beginning of Simmons’ career as well as new works created specifically for his year-long residency at JCAL.
