2nd Annual NY Hussle Awards Ceremony, Honoring Men of Color
The NY Hussle Awards is returning for the second year in a row and we couldn't be more excited. This year, we honor a new group of men and will have performances from local talented individuals! This community event encourages networking and gathering valuable resources for future endeavors. The 2020 Recipients of the Hussle Awards are: • Donahue Fields- Founder/CEO of US Adaptive Boxing, a sport designed to help others with disabilities regain their strength and self-esteem. • Edwin Raymond -NYPD Lt. Whistle-blower & Subject in Documentary “Crime & Punishment” exposing the quota system for arrest and tickets towards minorities. • Darrell D. Craig- Founder of iRock Charities, Partner with Queens Youth Justice Center, & member of Erica Ford’s Life Camp Inc. • Andre Apparicio - Founder of Nonprofit Its a Process which helps the formerly incarcerated, break the cycle of mass incarceration.
