Borough President Richards Hosts a Blood Drive
January is National Blood Donor Month. Together with the New York Blood Center (NYBC), Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr. is hosting a blood drive to raise awareness on the importance of donating blood. A blood transfusion occurs every two seconds in America and a single donation can help save multiple lives.
When: Tuesday, January 17th 9AM-3PM
Where: Helen Marshall Cultural Center (Atrium) at Queens Borough Hall, 120-55 Queens Blvd. in Kew Gardens
