Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr. and the Haitian Independence Coordinating Committee will present a virtual celebration of the 217th anniversary of the independence of the nation of Haiti. You can't talk about the diversity of Queens without talking about our vibrant Haitian-American community. Join us for a night of performances, reflections and more as we virtually celebrate 217 years of Haitian independence. The event will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. RSVP for the event at  www.queensbp.org/rsvp by Tuesday, January 12. The event will be livestreamed at www.queensbp.org
