The Queens Borough Board and the Queens Borough Cabinet, both chaired by Borough President Donovan Richards Jr., will hold a joint meeting on Monday, July 10, at 5:30 PM.
The meeting will include a presentation the New York City Department of Social Services regarding efforts to provide emergency shelter to asylum seekers.
The meeting will also include a presentation from NYC Emergency Management about the city’s efforts to prepare for hurricanes and to provide resources to New Yorkers to help them respond to severe weather.
This meeting will be conducted in-person in the Borough President’s second-floor conference room at Queens Borough Hall, located at 120-55 Queens Boulevard in Kew Gardens. The meeting will also be live-streamed to the public on the Borough President’s website at www.queensbp.org.
