Food Distribution and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Giveaway Event
In honor of the last Friday of Ramadan, Assemblyman David Weprin, hosting a Food Distribution and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) giveaway event in collaboration with local elected officials, including Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, Councilmember Jim Gennaro, Senator Leroy Comrie, Assemblywoman Alicia Hyndman.
The event will be be held at Jamaica Muslim Center this Friday, April 29th from 1:00PM - 3:00PM with support from community organizations including India Home, The Campaign against Hunger, Islamic Center of North America, and Parker Jewish Institute. Following the 12:30PM call to prayer, gathered community leaders will give brief remarks.
