Friends of Maple Grove - Quintet of the Americas 6/12/22
Join us at The Center on June 12 at 3 PM for a performance by the Quintet Of The Americas. They’ll perform Latin, Jazz, Klezmer and Swing with music by Jose Raul Bernardo, Ed Bland, Ljova, James Cohn, AND a new work by Queens composer B. Allen Schultz. The group members are: Kim O’Hare Bonacorsa, flute Matt Sullivan, oboe David Valbuena, clarinet Barbara Oldham, horn Alexander Davis, bassoon Dedication to honor Dr. Robert P. Stevens (1813-1890). He was a geologist and personal friend of Abraham Lincoln, prominent in the anti-slavery movement, and a member of the Underground Railroad. Free admission with RSVP: (347) 878-6613.
