Performance of The Tragedy of Richard II by Hip to Hip Theatre Company from 5:00 – 8:00PM
Raised to believe his every thought is sanctioned by God, King Richard is dangerously out of touch. When his cousin Henry Bolingbroke challenges Richard for the throne, it’s a fight the king can’t win. But in losing his crown he gains his humanity and his soul.
Kids & the Classics is a 20-minute, pre-show, interactive workshop for children ages 5 to 12. It gives children a chance to interact with the text by previewing the story, and by creating links between the text and their own lives through theatre games and close reading.
