On Thursday, April 29 from 6pm – 8pm, NHSJ in collaboration with HPD is presenting a Virtual Homeowner Stabilization workshop designed to bring awareness of housing assistance resources for home buyers and existing homeowners. 
The presenters and their discussion topics are:
·        Neighborhood Housing Services of Jamaica – Home Ownership; Rehab Services; Foreclosure Intervention; Homeowner Stabilization, etc.
·        PairGap – Creating wealth by owning where you live; How Co-ownership can get you closer to your goal and Choosing the right neighborhood/investment
·        NACA – First-time Homebuyer Program which offers no down payment/closing cost mortgage financing for 1-5 family properties
·        The Legal Aid Society – Working with a Real Estate Attorney – Their Role and Responsibilities
·        HPD and the Dept. of Buildings  – NYC Government Homeowner Services
·        Center for New York City Neighborhoods – Homeowner Stabilization Services – Foreclosure Prevention, Anti-Displacement, Rehab Services, etc.
