Key to the City: A Family Resource Fair
Join the NYIC at St. James Park on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 10 am - 2 pm! We will be on the lawn between the W 192d St. park entrance and the E 192nd St. park entrance. Local community-based organizations will be sharing resources covering financial literacy, college access, IDNYC, and health access! We'll have Know Your Rights information available and much more! There will be several legal service providers available to assist community members in learning more about immigration relief options. To ensure a safe space for all attending, this event will be outdoors, masks are required, and we will be conducting health screenings and contact tracing. Questions? Contact us at [email protected] for more support. Thank you to Speaker Adrienne Adams, Council Member Pierina Sanchez, Council Member Shahana Hanif, Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson, and Congressman Adriano Espaillat (NY-13). Our Family Resource Fair is brought to you in partnership with Acacia Network, African International Collaborative Center, BRAG, Bridge Builders Community Partnership, BronxWorks, Catholic Charities Community Services, Coalition for Immigrant Freedom, Elizabeth Seton Women's Center, Friends of Aqueduct Walk, ImmSchools, La Peninsula Community Organization, Literacy INC., Mexican Coalition, NYC Emergency Management, NYC Housing Preservation and Development, NYC Department of Education Office of Student Enrollment, Planned Parenthood of Greater New York, Promesa, Qualitas of Life Foundation, South Bronx Overall Economic Development, Street Vendor Project, The Bronx Neighborhood Housing Services, The New York Public Library, US Citizenship and Immigration Services, and Youth Ministries for Peace and Justice.
