Acting Queens Borough President Sharon Lee will hold a regular Public Hearing on Land Use. The agenda is as follows:
  1. Application submitted on behalf of Home Depot U.S.A., Inc., for the grant of a special permit to allow the development of a self-storage facility (Use Group 16D) in an M1-1 District, within Queens Community District 2. Address of location is 59-02 Borden Avenue in Maspeth.
  2. Application filed by the Department of Sanitation (DSNY) and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) for site selection and acquisition of property at 31-11 20th Avenue (Block 850, p/o Lot 350) and 19th Avenue (Block 826, Lot 42), for use as a replacement sanitation garage and salt shed facility. Location is within Queens Community District 1 in Astoria.
