NYSOUNDCIRCUIT’S DIGITAL SEASON FINALE
NYsoundCircuit (NYsC) - the multimedia event series concludes its 2020-2021 digital season showcasing art and music that speaks to environmental change and artistic fusion amidst the awakening of identities and social unrest of our time. For NYsoundCircuit 8.3: “Papillon Morphing”, RESONANT REFRACTIONS (RR) percussionist ADAM BEARD plays Adam Beard, violinist RUSSELL KOTCHER (RR) collaborates with filmmaker SCOTT MILLER BERRY on “Ablation”, a new music video reminding us of perilous environmental change, clarinetist EMMALIE TELLO (RR) performs “The Sirens” by Judd Greenstein, JACKIE TRAISH (RR) brings us “Lipstick” by JacobTV, and cellist LUIS MERCADO (RR) performs Kaija Saariaho’s “Sept Papillons”. Plus, the bold wearable artwork of NANA YAASERWAH AKUOKU will be featured in “Life is a journey” Part I. This event is free, but NYsC will accept donations of any amount during the show which will go toward the artists (www.nysoundcircuit.com/support).
