Pride Prom
The “Unapologetically Us” Pride Prom, hosted by Assemblymember Catalina Cruz and Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, returns Wednesday, June 8, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the New York Hall of Science. The night will feature a live DJ, food, drinks, performances and a photo booth, along with free resources from LGBTQIA+ organizations. Teens and young adults ages 14 to 20 are invited to celebrate the event, which took a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Free prom clothing is available for those who need it, courtesy of the AIDS Center of Queens County. Transportation will be provided to and from the 7 train at the 111th St. Station in Corona.
