Downtown Far Rockaway has been awarded $4.5 million for catalytic projects through New York State’s New York Forward program. To solicit input on how the funds should spent, a public meeting will be held on Monday, July 17 at 6:30 PM at Peninsula Preparatory Academy Charter School at 611 Beach 19th Street. All are invited to attend to share their priorities for Far Rockaway's economic future.
