Saturday at the Bay

Guardians of Flushing Bay is hosting a free, public, outdoor fundraiser on Saturday, September 24 (12pm to 4pm) at the Flushing Meadows Corona Park Public Kayak/Canoe Launch on the eastern end of the Promenade. ‘Saturday at the Bay’ is GoFB’s first in-person fundraiser since 2019. We hope the event can act as a celebratory convener for our nearby watershed communities who are disconnected by geographical barriers—crisscrossing highways and vast acres of parking lots. Entry to the event will be free (donations optional) and open to the public to ensure that all our community members are able to attend. We will have activities (free and paid) for all ages, including dragon boating and kayaking, arts and crafts, walking tours, music, and local vendors!
