Spring Into Health Fair
Commonpoint Queens is proud to participate in the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD)’s Spring Into Health Fair! Join us Sunday, May 1 from 10am-1pm in the Central Queens parking lot (108th Street between 68th Road and 68th Avenue) for a community-based health fair with information on wellness, nutrition, workforce training, fitness, government services, and other programs at Commonpoint Queens and in our community. Activities include: Fitness demonstrations from our Health & Wellness department (Zumba, yoga, and more!) Healthy eating recipes and samples from the Commonpoint Queens Silver Hub culinary team Plant and craft activities including self-care kits, wind chimes, lavender sachets, and make your own plants Legal and financial resources with NYLAG Depression screenings with the Visiting Nurse Service of New York Health insurance information from MetroPlus Composting with the Forest Hills Green Team COVID-19 resources with Test + Trace Live music from Let Us Entertain You And more for all ages!
