Summer STEAM Series: Parachutes and Aerodynamics
Join us for a unique virtual program! Run experiments with paper and parachutes! Participants will develop tests and trials to find the most effective parachute. We will look at concepts of spinning, resistance, and stability to test and evaluate the best options, and develop and test new methods! Explore resistance and aerodynamics while documenting observations, and discover the best way to parachute your payloads of dolls and action figures down to safety! Please have printer paper or magazine pages, string (ribbon, twine, or yarn), tape, Scissors, and 5-10 paperclips (5 big or 10 small) available. Ages 7 and above, Families welcome. Pay as you wish. Details to join the live workshop will be provided closer to the event date. Registration required. Click the green "Register button above to access our website and register.
