Borough President Richards Hosts a Queens Borough Cabinet Meeting
The Queens Borough Cabinet, chaired by Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr., will hold a meeting on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 9:30 AM in Queens Borough Hall, 120-55 Queens Boulevard in Kew Gardens. The meeting will include a presentation from Mayor’s Community Affairs Unit (CAU) about the development of Neighborhood Support Teams (NSTs). These teams will work with a number of local neighborhoods to clearly identify and understand neighborhood issues and to create and execute action plans to address those issues. It will also include a presentation from the New York City Department for the Aging (DFTA) about Silver Corps, a newly launched workforce development program for older adults. In addition, the meeting will include updates from representatives from other city agencies about recent developments at their agencies. This meeting will be conducted in-person in the Borough President’s second-floor conference room at Queens Borough Hall, located at 120-55 Queens Boulevard in Kew Gardens. The meeting will also be live-streamed to the public on the Borough President’s website at www.queensbp.org and on the Borough President’s YouTube page.
