The Queens Borough Cabinet, chaired by Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr., will hold a meeting on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 9:30 AM in Queens Borough Hall, 120-55 Queens Boulevard in Kew Gardens.
The meeting will include a presentation from the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation (NYC Parks) about “Let’s Green NYC,” a citywide initiative to recruit a record number of residents to do volunteer work in city parks in 2024. The initiative will celebrate the hundreds of diverse volunteer groups who already actively care for parks and greenspaces and encourage thousands of new volunteers to help enhance the city’s parks and environment.
The meeting will also include updates from representatives from city agencies about recent developments at their agencies.
