
The Borough Cabinet will hear a presentation from the New York City Department for the Aging (DFTA) that will include an overview of the agency and its efforts ensure the dignity and promote the quality-of-life of our City’s senior citizens.
In addition, New York State Homes and Community Renewal (HCR) will deliver an update on the state’s Rent Stabilization and Tenant Protection Act of 2019, which greatly enhanced the tenant protections in the regulations governing rent-stabilized apartments.
This meeting will be conducted virtually, with Borough Cabinet members participating via videoconference. The meeting will also be live-streamed to the public on the Borough President’s website at www.queensbp.org/community-boards.
