Queens Borough President Sharon Lee, in partnership with the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York and the Queens Jewish Community Council, invites you to a Virtual Celebration of Jerusalem with the internationally renowned Yoel Sharabi & Band on Thursday, June 25, 2020, from 5;00 PM to 7:00 PM. Yoel Sharabi, a native Sabra, has captivated his audiences with his wide repertoire and his dynamic style. He is a master of Modern Israeli, Classic Yemenite, and popular Chassidic melodies. Yoel delivers his songs in a variety of languages and styles. His charisma brings an excitement to his music that is hard to contain. The event will mark the 53rd anniversary of the reunification of Israel’s City of Gold and the 72nd anniversary of the modern State of Israel.
