Borough President Richards Hosts a Queens Borough Board Meeting
The Queens Borough Board, chaired by Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr., will hold a meeting on Monday, September 18 at 5:30 PM in Queens Borough Hall, 120-55 Queens Boulevard in Kew Gardens. The meeting will include an update the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) on the status of the proposed Interborough Express project, The Interborough Express is a proposed 14-mile light rail line that would connect Jackson Heights, Queens to Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. The meeting will also include a presentation from New York State Homes and Community Renewal (HCR) on the New York Resilient Retrofits Program, a low-cost loan program for single-family homeowners seeking to make their homes resilient from flood damage and other climate risks. This meeting will be conducted in-person in the Borough President’s second-floor conference room at Queens Borough Hall, located at 120-55 Queens Boulevard in Kew Gardens. The meeting will also be live-streamed to the public on the Borough President’s website at www.queensbp.org and on the Borough President’s YouTube page.
