Virtual STEAM Workshop: Forensic Fun
Have you ever wondered how and when fingerprints are formed? Did you know that even twins don’t have the same fingerprints? Forensic Scientist and STEM Educator, Tamykah Anthony, will be teaching all about fingerprints. Learn about the three kinds of fingerprints and examine your own and your family’s to see if you share similar prints. Find out how fingerprints are used to solve crimes, how to dust for fingerprints, and how to lift prints just like the Crime Scene Investigators do using everyday household items! You will need tape, blank white paper, a glass or glass jar, and cocoa powder.
Ages 7 and above, families welcome.
This is an online event, registration is required.
