Workshop - Learn About Working Legally in the United States
Queens Public Library (QPL) is partnering with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to provide information sessions to individuals who recently arrived to the country. USCIS will conduct presentations focusing on employment authorization, asylum, and fee waivers in both English and Spanish. The sessions are scheduled for Thursday, October 12 and Friday, October 13 with presentations at 11AM and 1PM at Central Library, located at 89-11 Merrick Boulevard, Jamaica, NY 11432. After the sessions, USCIS staff will be available to answer questions until 5PM.
