QUEENS, NY – Borough President Melinda Katz announced the “2015 Katz Concert Series” made up of free outdoor concerts this summer at various locations throughout Queens.

“From Reggae to Motown, this summer is sure to be a musical and vibrant one here in Queens,” said Borough President KATZ. “All residents and visitors are welcome and encouraged to enjoy the array of talent we’ve been able to attract to our beautiful borough.”

The 2015 Katz Concert Series kicked off to a successful start in May with the string band “The Ebony Hillbillies” in St. Albans and the Doo Wop group “The Barons” in College Point, as well as the SummerStage concert this past Sunday at the World’s Fair Anniversary Festival in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park.
