“He was a leader of global renown and respect, and the world deeply mourns the loss of such a treasured visionary for peace. His legacy is rooted in his unwavering and inspiring devotion to building better Israeli-Palestinian relations. His lifetime of work included the historic signing of the Oslo Peace Accords and paving the close alliance we have today between the U.S. and Israel. For our children’s future, may his legacy continue.”
