QUEENS, NY – Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr. and Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage will host “Queens Live!,” a free concert in Flushing Meadows Corona Park this Saturday, June 25, headlined by popular hip-hop artist, television personality and Flushing native Action Bronson.

“Queens Live! isn’t just back for a second year, but it’s coming back bigger and better. I couldn’t be more excited to partner with the Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage team to bring Queens’ own Action Bronson to his home borough in what should be a fantastic free afternoon of music,” said Borough President RICHARDS. “We’re going to start our summer off right and I look forward to seeing all of you in Flushing Meadows Corona Park on June 25.”

The free concert, hosted by famed “Video Music Box” personality Ralph McDaniels, will take place from 4pm to 7pm next to the New York State Pavilion within Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The “Queens Live!” concert, promotion for which is funded in part through a grant provided by the NYC & Company Foundation, is one of nearly 90 free and benefit shows hosted in a dozen neighborhoods across the city by Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage. Action Bronson’s performance follows Borough President Richards’ series of “Queens Live!” free concerts held across The World’s Borough last year, from a family-friendly multilingual performance in Jackson Heights by Latin Grammy winners 123 Andres to a Biz Markie tribute concert in Springfield Gardens and beyond.

Action Bronson has released six studio albums including the critically acclaimed “Cocodrillo Turbo,” which he released in April 2022. A former chef, he has also hosted a popular food and travel documentary television and web series since 2016.
