BOROUGH CABINET TO HOLD ROUNDTABLE WITH CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATION AND REVIEW VETERANS’ SERVICES

QUEENS, NY – The Queens Borough Cabinet, chaired by Borough President Donovan Richards, will hold a virtual roundtable discussion with members of the Queens delegation of the U.S. House of Representatives, who will discuss pending federal legislation impacting matters like COVID-19, the economy, and important local issues.

In addition, Terrance Holliday, a retired U.S. Air Force Colonel and the Acting Assistant Commissioner of the New York City Department of Veterans’ Services (DVS), will deliver an overview of the Department and of the services it offers to the City residents who have served our country in uniform.

This Borough Cabinet meeting will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. It will be conducted virtually, with Borough Cabinet members participating via videoconference. The meeting will also be live-streamed to the public on the Borough President’s website at www.queensbp.org/community-boards.

About the Borough Cabinet

The Queens Borough Cabinet is chaired by the Borough President under the New York City Charter and comprised of the District Managers of each Community Board in the Borough and representatives from city agencies.  It focuses on city service delivery and agency responsiveness across the borough and hears presentations on these issues from City officials and others.
