QUEENS, NY – Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr. will hold a regular Public Hearing on Land Use. The public hearing will be streamed live at www.queensbp.org. The agenda includes:

1.      An application submitted by 48-18 Van Dam Property Holdings, LLC, for an amendment of the Zoning Map by changing from an M2-1 District to an M1-5 District property bounded by 48th Avenue, Van Dam Street, Hunters Point Avenue, and 31st Place. (ULURP #190260 ZMQ)

Location is in Long Island City in Queens Community Board District 2.

Items 2 and 3 are related:

2.      An application submitted by Woodside 63 Management, LLC and Mare Nostrum Elements, Inc., for a zoning text amendment to designate the Project Area as a Mandatory Inclusionary Housing (“MIH”) area. (ULURP #N20069 ZRQ)

Location is in Woodside in Queens Community Board District 2.

3.      An application submitted by Woodside 63 Management, LLC and Mare Nostrum Elements, Inc, for an amendment of the Zoning Map; a.) eliminating from an existing R6 District a C1-4 District bounded by Roosevelt Avenue, 63rd Street, a line 100 feet southerly of Roosevelt Avenue, and the northwesterly prolongation of the southwesterly street line of Trimble Road; and b.) changing from an existing R6 to a C4-4 District property bounded by Roosevelt Avenue, 63rd Street and its southerly prolongation, and the northwesterly prolongation of the southwesterly street line of Trimble Road. (ULURP #N200070 ZMQ)

Items 4 and 5 are related:

4.      An application submitted by 11 St & Broadway LLC for an amendment of the Zoning Map; a.) changing from an R5 District to an M1-4/R7A District bounded by Broadway, 12th Street, 33rd Avenue, and 11th Street; and b.) establishing a Special Mixed Use District (MX-23) bounded by Broadway, 12th Street, 33rd Avenue, and 11th Street. Location is in Astoria in Queens Community Board District 1.

5.      An application submitted by 11 St. & Broadway LLC for a zoning text amendment to designate the Project Area as a Mandatory Inclusionary Housing (“MIH”) area. (ULURP #210026 ZRQ)

Location is in Astoria in Queens Community Board District 1.

6.      An application submitted by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority and the Department of City Planning for a zoning text amendment to establish a framework for coordinating the siting and provision of transit station improvements with new developments or enlargements on adjacent sites to make the transit system more accessible, more quickly and better coordinated with the streets and buildings around it. This application is Citywide in scope.
