The meeting will include a presentation from the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) that will highlight the importance of the City’s Neighborhood Advisory Boards, which help DYCD allocate about $30 million in federal Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funding to fight the effects of poverty through social service programs.

The presentation will also touch on DYCD’s upcoming 2022 Community Needs Assessment, which will ask New Yorkers from every corner of the City about any service gaps they experience in their communities.
