QUEENS BOROUGH BOARD TO RECEIVE UPDATE ON CANNABIS LEGALIZATION

QUEENS, NY – The Queens Borough Board, chaired by Borough President Donovan Richards Jr., will hold an in-person meeting on Monday, October 16, at 5:30 PM.
The meeting will feature an update regarding the status of the legal cannabis market in New York State, as licenses are currently being sought by individuals and businesses interested in legally growing, processing, distributing, and selling cannabis. The presentation to the Borough Board will outline what local leaders need to know when individuals and businesses seek to open legal cannabis-related businesses in their neighborhoods.
This meeting will be conducted in-person in the Borough President’s second-floor conference room at Queens Borough Hall, located at 120-55 Queens Boulevard in Kew Gardens. The meeting will also be live-streamed to the public on the Borough President’s website at www.queensbp.org and on the Borough President’s YouTube page.

La Junta del Distrito está presidida por el Presidente del Distrito, de acuerdo con la Carta de la Ciudad de Nueva York, y está compuesta por los miembros del Consejo Municipal del distrito y el presidente de cada Junta Comunitaria del distrito.
