QUEENS BOROUGH CABINET POSTPONED DUE TO EXPECTED INCLEMENT WEATHER

New date to be announced in the coming days

(February 12, 2024 at 2pm)

QUEENS, NY – Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr. today announced that the February 13 meeting of the Queens Borough Cabinet — in which the NYC Department of Transportation and the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene were scheduled to give presentations on the city’s permanent outdoor dining program and infectious diseases like COVID-19, respectively — has been postponed in light of tomorrow’s expected snowfall and the City’s issuance of a travel advisory.

A new date for the next meeting of the Queens Borough Cabinet will be announced in the coming days.

Borough President Richards encourages all Queens residents to stay safe, stay home and stay off the roads during tomorrow’s storm, if possible, in order to allow NYC Department of Sanitation workers to perform their duties unimpeded. If travel is a must, the use of mass transit is strongly encouraged.
