QUEENS BOROUGH BOARD TO DISCUSS RESOLUTION ON SMOKE-FREE APARTMENTS

QUEENS, NY –The Queens Borough Board, chaired by Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr., will hold a virtual meeting on Monday, February 7, 2022, at 5:30pm.

The meeting will include a presentation from supporters of a proposed resolution that calls for the landlords of existing and new apartment residential units to transition to a smoke-free apartment policy.

Due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, the New York City Civilian Complaint Review Board’s presentation initially scheduled for February 7 will be rescheduled to a later Queens Borough Board gathering.

This meeting will be conducted virtually with Borough Board members participating via videoconference. The meeting will also be live-streamed to the public on the Borough President’s website at www.queensbp.org.
