QUEENS BOROUGH BOARD TO HEAR PRESENTATIONS ON OPEN RESTAURANT DESIGN GUIDELINES AND STUDENT TRANSPORTATION SAFETY

QUEENS, NY –The Queens Borough Board, chaired by Borough President Donovan Richards Jr., will hold a virtual meeting on Monday, December 6 at 5:30 PM.

The meeting will include a presentation from the New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) and the New York City Department of City Planning (DCP) on the proposed design guidelines for the City’s Open Restaurants program, which the City is looking to make permanent.

Also during the meeting, a representative from the technology company BusPatrol will review the company’s technology for deterring motorists from illegally passing stopped school busses during the pick-up and drop-off of students.

This meeting will be conducted virtually with Borough Board members participating via videoconference. The meeting will also be live-streamed to the public on the Borough President’s website at www.queensbp.org.
